Neighbors In Action

At the Fort Washington Food Pantry, we believe in one simple truth: Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Our volunteers—known as Neighbors in Action—are the heart of everything we do. From preparing food during the week to serving families on distribution day, every act of service helps us care for our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Why Volunteer

Every week, we serve hundreds of households across our community. This work would not be possible without dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to help others.

Whether you have a few hours a week or want to volunteer occasionally, there is a place for you here.

Who Can Volunteer

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, including:

  • Students
  • Working professionals
  • Churches
  • Retirees
  • Stay-at-home parents
  • Community groups and organizations

No experience is required—just a willingness to serve.
